Recurring Lyphoma Male, Age 61, Non-smoker Insurance needed: $15,000,000 permanent insurance - Declined by over 50 life insurance companies Medical history: History of a high grade malignant lymphoma 8 years ago and recurrence of a high grade lymphoma within 3 years. Policy issued and place for $15,000,000 rated UL policies through 3 high quality companies . ====================================================================== 2. Foreign National Male 50 year old Mexican National with Insurance need of $1,000,000 (half term and half permanent) Even though he is not a citizen of the US, he has owned a business located in a US border city for over 5 years and commutes to the US daily, has a Social Security number, a US bank account and has an annual income of over $75,000. He is an excellent risk medically. Policy issued and placed for $1,000,000 with Preferred Rates with an A++ Best Rated Company ======================================================================= 3. Multiple Driving While Intoxicated (DUI) convictions. Male - age 59 - owner of several businesses. Insurance need: $10,000,000 permanent insurance for business and estate planning. Client had been arrested 2 times in the past 2 1/2 years for DUI. Continues to drink socially. Numerous life insurance companies declined. Policy was approved at Standard rates without any ratings by a high quality company. Clients insurance needs were met and the insurance professional will be receiving over $150,000. ======================================================================= 4. Colon Cancer History Male - age 82 - He needed to roll over annuity policies to life insurance for estate tax purposes. Need for insurance: over $800,000 of permanent life insurance. Client had been declined by several insurance companies. He had colon cancer at a Stage B level removed less than 3 year prior to the application. Also, he had a history of Stress Electrocardiograms with some abnormalities. A permanent policy for $875,000 was approved with a temporary extra premium which met his estate tax and investment needs. The insurance producer received over $35,000 on a client previously declined by everyone else. ======================================================================= 5. Preferred Rates with Multiple Medical Histories Male - age 53 - uses occasional cigars. Has a life insurance need for $1,000,000 of permanent insurance. Client is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 210 lbs. Has been treated for high blood pressure for several years with an occasional pealing of his blood pressure. Has been treated for depression for the past 2 years. Was arrested for a DUI 2 years ago. A permanent policy for $1,000,000 was issued and paid for on a Preferred basis with an A++ AM Best rated company. ======================================================================= 6. Kidney Transplant History Male, Age 53, Non-smoker Insurance needed: $450,000 permanent insurance - Declined by over 10 life insurance companies Medical history: History of polycystic kidney disease with a kidney transplant 1989. Transplant appears stable and kidney function tests are generally within his baseline levels of creatinine (1.8 to 2.0) and BUN. Had a small remaining part of an old removed kidney surgically removed 11/99.. Policy issued and place for $450,000 UL at only a class D premium (about $9,600 annual premium = 2.1% of insurance amount).
